Family demands justice for three-year-old boy killed in crash involving Ghana actor Lil Win

The tragic car crash involving popular Ghanaian actor and musician Lil Win, also known as Kwadwo Nkansah, has left the family of a three-year-old boy seeking justice. The incident occurred on 25 May in Kumasi, resulting in the child’s death and Lil Win being hospitalized at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. The actor was later arrested on charges of dangerous driving and causing harm through negligence.

The family of the deceased child, Nana Yaw, expressed their determination to seek justice for their loss. They criticized Lil Win for allegedly failing to reach out to them until he learned about the child’s death. Despite facing legal consequences, the actor has not responded to the accusation or made any statements.

The community mourned the loss of the young boy, leading to the cancellation of Lil Win’s new film premiere, “A Country Called Ghana.” The actor’s production company, Wezzy Empire, called off the event as a sign of respect for Nana Yaw and his family. Lil Win extended his condolences to the bereaved family and wished a speedy recovery to the father, Jacob Kofi Amponsah, who remains hospitalized.

The case has sparked outrage and calls for a thorough investigation by the police. With the court proceedings adjourned until 27 June, the family members are relying on authorities to uncover the truth behind the tragic accident. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and responsible driving to prevent such heartbreaking losses in the future.
