In a shocking turn of events, a 42-year-old man facing trial for the murder of three elderly siblings in Spain has allegedly killed his cellmate in prison. The suspect, Dilawar Hussain F.C., was recently transferred to Estremera prison outside Madrid, where he reportedly confessed to the brutal killings of two sisters and their brother in the town of Morata de Tajuña.
The latest incident occurred when a 39-year-old man of Bulgarian origin was found dead in his cell in the early hours of Thursday. Dilawar Hussain F.C., who is of Pakistani origin, had been sharing the cell with him. The victim had sustained multiple injuries, prompting a police investigation into his alleged murder.
The cell was located in a section of Estremera prison known for housing high-risk inmates, and the victim had been assigned to monitor Dilawar Hussain F.C. The motive for the killing remains unclear, but authorities suspect it may be related to the ongoing trial and the significant amount of money owed to the suspect.
Dilawar Hussain F.C. had turned himself in to the police on January 22, just two days before being admitted to Estremera prison. Prior to this, the bodies of the three siblings – Amelia, Ángeles, and José Gutiérrez Ayuso – had been discovered in their home in Morata de Tajuña. Neighbors had reported their absence for several weeks, leading to the grim discovery.
Investigations revealed that the two sisters, Ángeles and Amelia, had been involved in an online romance scam for years. They had fallen prey to individuals posing as military personnel from the United States and had sent hundreds of thousands of euros to these fraudulent persons. Despite warnings from friends and locals, the sisters refused to believe they were being scammed.
Financially strained, the sisters had sought financial assistance from people in their community. Dilawar Hussain F.C. claimed to have lent them a large sum of money and had been residing with them as a lodger for a few months. Tragically, it is believed that the sisters and their brother were beaten to death with an iron bar in December before their bodies were partially burned.
Prior to these horrific crimes, Dilawar Hussain F.C. had already served time in prison for violently assaulting Amelia with a hammer. However, he was released in September, only to find himself embroiled in this triple murder case later on.
This chilling case not only sheds light on the dangers of online scams and the vulnerable individuals they target, but also raises concerns about the safety and security measures within the prison system. The fact that a suspect with a violent history was able to commit another murder while in custody raises questions about the effectiveness of the prison’s screening and supervision protocols.
Authorities are now faced with the task of unraveling the intricate web of deceit, greed, and violence that led to the deaths of three innocent siblings and a fellow inmate. It serves as a grim reminder of the dangers lurking within our society and the importance of remaining vigilant against online fraud and exploitation.
