In the lead up to Pakistan’s general election, Imran Khan and his political party, the PTI, are facing numerous hurdles and obstacles. Despite Khan’s imprisonment and the PTI being stripped of its election symbol, the party is determined to win the election with the help of social media and new, untested candidates. However, there are concerns about the PTI’s campaign methods, allegations of harassment and violence against its members, and the limited reach of their online campaigning due to internet disruptions. The PTI’s ability to inspire voters and overcome these challenges will ultimately determine its electoral success.
